Congratulations to Soraya Bonno, a second grade student and Franklin Tillotson, a fifth grade student, for receiving the Turnaround Achievement Award for Lake Carolina Elementary Lower and Upper Campuses. This award is given to students that exemplify effort, perseverance, and commitment during the school year to overcome any challenges. Lake Shake Winner

And the winner of LakeShake is...Tristan Berzins!

Round 6 had the students going Chick-fil-A's corporate headquarters in Atlanta and present a new potential restaurant that could be franchised. They are focusing on the culture of the restaurant, a marketing ploy, characteristics of their staff, and of course, a sample menu.

Many, many thanks to Mr. Thompson, the 5th grade team, community and parent volunteers, and the LCEU staff and students.
