Hip Hop Dance Workshops
Friday, February 6, 2015 (Girls) & Saturday, February 7, 2015 (Boys)
The Westwood Dance Department will host a Hip-Hop Dance Workshop for girls in grades 5-8 at Westwood High School on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 4pm until 7pm and boys in grades 5-8 on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 10am until 1pm. The cost is $25 per student and includes dance instruction, water bottle, and snack. Families with 2 or more students attending will receive a $10 discount per additional student.
The Westwood Dance Workshops are under the direction of Ms. Veneshia W. Stribling, the Dance Teacher at Westwood High School. Westwood dance students will assist in workshop instruction and supervision of students. The format of the workshops will consist of movement instruction, lecture, and group discussions on hip-hop dance and jazz (girls only) techniques. Water bottle and a snack will be provided.
Deadline for registration is Thursday, February 5, 2015.

To help our students explore possible career options at Upper Campus, Lee Gator wants to travel to work with parents and then report back on our morning show.
If you are interested in participating with this program, please click on this link and complete the form. Mrs. Skinner will contact you when it is your turn to have Lee Gator (a stuffed animal) go to work with you for a day! Lee will come with a journal and camera to help Mrs. Skinner share your career with the school on the morning show.
