Black History Month at Upper Campus

For Black History Month this year, Upper Campus celebrated the modern achievements of African- Americans with a school-wide gallery walk today. We wanted to recognize the accomplishments of these heroes! 

Each student “traveler”  was given a “green book” like the one from the book, Ruth and the Green Book by Calvin Alexander Ramsey, to add information they learned from each homeroom classes door displays as they travelled the halls of the school.

American Heart Association - Kids Heart Challenge

 

Richland Two has partnered with the American Heart Association to help raise funds during the month of February! Heart disease impacts 1 out of 4 Americans and it does not matter your gender, race or ethnicity. 

Our community is welcome to join us in this Service Learning Project and we hope you invite family and friends in participating. Thanks for considering!

Please remember that students should arrive to school by 8:00am as the teachers on duty report inside to begin their day.  Student should not be dropped off in the parking lot. If no adult is present on the sidewalk, please escort your child into the building to be signed in on the Kelly Mill side.  This request is an effort to keep  our  students safe.

Kelly Mill Med Pro AVID Program

The Kelly Mill Med Pro AVID Application window is now open for rising 6th grade students.

The application window for KMMP AVID will be open from January 18th - March 4th.  Applications are available here, on the KMMP AVID Weebly site and by emailing Miss Tori White at anwhite@richland2.org.  Applications may also be picked up in Kelly Mill’s front office. 

Please mark your calendars for one of our virtual AVID Family Information Nights on February 8th and February 23rd from 6 - 7PM.  You can register online for one of our AVID Family Nights on our school website or here.
