Lower Campus Arrival & Dismissal

Morning Drop off:

Staff on duty outside are there to assist with the crosswalks and monitor students as they enter the building.

To help expedite our morning arrival, please have your child ready to exit on the passenger side of your car. Staff members on duty are there to assist with monitoring students as they independently exit your car and to ensure all students enter the building safely.

Lower Campus:
  • Please keep the Dismissal Sign (with your student's first and last name) in the windshield until your child has gotten into your vehicle.
  • If you do not have a sign, you will be asked to pull forward and show identification.
  • If you have a younger child in a car seat, if possible, please put the car seat on the driver's side of the car.
  • LCE staff do not buckle car seats. Please pull forward out of the car rider line to safely buckle your child.
  • Please move your car as far as possible in the line. The first car should be at the end of the awning.

School Uniform Policy @ LCE

We are often asked if we are a uniform school.  Each year we provide an SIC survey for our Gator families and our most recent survey last spring shows that almost 70% of our families support a Uniform Policy.  In the past, we have averaged about a 75% support rate for uniforms.  We recognize that as students get older they like to have more control of what they wear each day so our Upper Campus tends to have less participation in comparison to our Lower Campus students.

We will continue to strongly encourage the wearing of uniforms and continue to have a Spirit Day each Friday so students can wear their favorite high school, college or professional team.  Of course, your Gator gear is always a great choice.  We are celebrating “College Colors Day” this Friday.

Thanks for helping our students share their Gator Pride!
