Spring Testing Information-Upper Campus
For the 2014-2015 school year, elementary schools across the state of South Carolina will be administering an assessment known as ACT Aspire (American College Test). This test will replace the ELA and Math sections of PASS (Palmetto Assessment of State Standards). We are currently preparing for the changes that will take place. Teachers will be practicing with our students to provide them with sample questions in order to experience the new format before the assessments take place.
Additionally, Mrs. Skinner will be working with all students during guidance lessons to share test taking strategies.Unlike the PASS test, ACT Aspire is a timed assessment. We feel confident that, partnered with your support, the measures we are taking will help to ensure the success of our students.
Please be mindful of the following dates. It is important that your child is present and on time for each of these assessments. Thank you for your cooperation.
Testing Dates
April 28: Writing and Grammar for 3rd-5th grades
April 29: Reading for 3rd-5th grades April 30: Math for 3rd-5th grades
