News from the Health Room
News from the Nurse . . .
If your child will need to take medication at school, the district medication policy must be followed. Medications should be in the original container with the student's name and instructions for administration on the label. For prescription medications, a medication permission form must be completed by the parent and signed by the child's doctor in order for the medication to be given at school. Over the counter medications (Tylenol, cold medicines, etc.) require a signed permission form by the parent. These forms are available in the health room.
All student medications are kept in the health room, unless specified in writing by a physician and the parent after talking with the nurse. Medicines should be brought straight to the health room upon arrival to school.
Thank you for your cooperation!
