Nine students also received an embroidered patch for scoring within the top 50% of all participants: Mary Ann Gardiner (top 20%), Sean Gibbons (top 25%), James Derrick, Savannah Yoo (top 30%), Emery Eaton, Kai Nagao, Sarah Chaneyworth, Anish Verma (top 40%) Spencer Shealy (top 50%).

Since 1979, it has provided challenging, thought-provoking problems that stretch the abilities of students in grades 4 - 7, strengthening their foundation for both assessment tests and more advanced studies.
