Our final service learning project this year begins now and ends April 10. We are filling backpacks for local Foster Care Children. This project will help encourage the LIFESKILLS of Caring, Cooperation, Friendship, and Responsibility. Look for information from your child’s teacher on how donate the requested items. Each grade level is asked to donate different items since we are filling backpacks for boys and girls of different ages.
Each child will receive a backpack with a personalized pillowcase and all the items each class is asked to donate.

Thank You Blythewood Rotary
Lower Campus Nature Club would like to thank the Blythewood Rotarians for donating their time to come out and build our new compost bins today. Our students are doing such an amazing job composting their fruits and vegetables that we needed more space. Now we have four bins, one for each nine weeks. Your hard work today is very appreciated! 5th Graders: Middle School Music Form
The 5th grade students were treated to a musical showcase by the Chorus, Band and Orchestra from the Kelly Mill Middle School music program this week to expose them to the options they will have in Richland 2 middle schools.
Each year, parents are asked to submit a form that allows them to select which program their child would like to participate in when they enter 6th grade by March 29. Students can choose to join one ensemble or they can choose Chorus and Band or Chorus and Orchestra. They cannot choose Band and Orchestra. To access the online form, go to www.richland2.org, click on "Explore", "I'm a Richland Two...Student or Parent", and the Middle School Music Form link is on the right side of your screen. Paper forms are also available for parents. Paper forms should be returned to me, Ms. Sadler, in the Music Room. You can also email at csadler@richland2.org if you have any questions.
