He shared where his ideas for his books have come from and how daydreaming can lead you to writing great stories that can become books that everyone can enjoy.

Service Learning with Winter Days

The Service Learning Project at Upper Campus starts next Monday, December 4. We are partnering with Spring Valley High School's annual Winter Days to collect canned goods and nonperishable food items the week of December 4.

To add excitement to our food drive, we are having Spirit Week. Each day, if a student brings in a food item, they can dress up in that day's theme. The class that collects the most food items at the end of the week will win extra recess and a popsicle!

  • Marvel Monday-Wear a Superhero Shirt!
  • Top Hat Tuesday-Wear a hat!
  • Wacky Tacky Wednesday-Dress in a tacky way!
  • Throwback Thursday-Dress from a past decade!
  • Favorite Team/Sport Friday-Wear your favorite team's jersey or your team's jersey!

Show your giving spirit this season and support our school's partnership with Winter Days! Thank you!
