Thank you for supporting our Service Learning Project! All of the collected food will go to families in need in Lake Carolina and Spring Valley High School's Winter Wishes drive, which supports Harvest Hope Food Bank. Thank you very much for your support of this Service Learning project that will help our community in Lake Carolina as well as the midlands area.
The class with the most food items collected for the pizza party was Mrs. Rataiczak's 3rd grade class. They collected 608 items! Congratulations to Mrs. Rataiczak and all of her students!
Don't forget that students can continue to help fight hunger by participating with freerice.com. The site offers multiple choice math fact and vocabulary review. Each correct answer earns 10 grains of rice to be donated to people in need across the globe. Ten correct answers equals a bowl of free food!
