Summer Box Tops Collection Sheet

Families, please continue to collect Box Tops over the summer!  Our summer Box Tops collection sheet (see link below) holds 50 box tops ($5.00 free money per sheet for LCE!) If every student from Upper and Lower Campus turns in 1 sheet during our back to school drive in August, that would equal $4,020 for LCE!  This would be an awesome way to start the year!

Also, the Box Tops Marketplace where people can shop on-line at hundreds of retailers will be permanently shutting down.  We have earned a small amount of free money from the families that have shopped via the Box Tops Marketplace and appreciate their effort to earn more money for our school! We can shop the marketplace through the end of July by going to www.boxtops.com.

Reading Celebration

We had a great reading celebration today!  Storyteller, Tim Lowry, shared a variety of humorous stories with our students.  Ask your child which one was the best.  Mrs. Faile then shared some good news regarding the amount of reading we did this year including top classes in each grade level, students who read all of the South Carolina book award nominees, the district champions from Readers' Challenge Club, and top Reading Counts students in each grade.  A fun time was had by all!
