Fireflies Reading Program 2022

 

Lake Carolina Lower and Upper Campuses will be participating in the Spring Fireflies Reading Program.  Your student will bring home a parent letter/flyer on March 28th that provides an opportunity to participate.

-Reading Start Date: Monday, March 28th

-Reading Flyer Due Date: Friday, April 22nd

-School Game Date: Saturday, May 21st at 6:05 pm (If you cannot make this date you are welcome to select another date when ordering.)

-Students receive 1 Free Fireflies Ticket in the reserved sections 101, 111, or 112.

-When checking in for the game, students receive 1 free Fireflies drawstring bag and a Fan Experience Pass to run the bases!

When students turn in completed form, parents will receive an email with a link to request your free student ticket and may purchase additional family tickets at that time.

Let's get reading gators so we can see the Fireflies play ball!

Lower Campus Service Learning

Foster Care Backpacks Supply Drive

Lower Campus will be collecting donations to fill backpacks for local foster care children from March 28-April 8. All donations should be new items with tags attached. We are in need of the following items:

• Small blanket
• Youth toothbrush & toothpaste
• Johnson's Body Lotion
• Small stuffed animal/toy
• Coloring book and crayons
• Hair brush/comb
• Socks

This service learning project helps encourage students to use the LIFESKILLS of caring, cooperation, friendship and responsibility. Thank you so much for your support and generosity!

Blythewood Baseball Youth Night

March 30 at 6:30pm Blythewood Baseball will have a Youth Night. Youth are admitted free of charge with a paying adult. Youth will be given the opportunity to come on the field and stand with their favorite player at 6:25pm. There will be giveaways during the game and all youth can run the bases after the game.

March Madness has arrived at Upper Campus. We are excited to see how the Women's NCAA tournament teams play this year!

5th Grade Sign Up for Middle School Visual and Performing Arts

It is time for students to begin signing up for visual and performing arts for middle school. This year, the Richland Two Roadshow is virtual. The 5th graders at LCEU have watched the videos during Music Class.  If you would like to review the videos, they can be found here: 2022-2023 Richland Two Visual and Performing Arts Roadshow. 

Please note that dance has been added to Blythewood Middle (the Google form reflects the change but not the video).

The form to sign up for classes is different this year as it includes all middle school art forms offered in Richland Two.  The form will be open until early May, but we encourage students to sign up by April 1, 2022.
