Upper Campus Car Rider Info for Phase 2

 

If you are picking your child in the car rider line, please read these important reminders.

 

New Upper Campus Procedures 

• A paper car rider sign will be given to all face to face students on the first day of Phase 2, November 4. You can also print one here.

• Please keep the Car Rider Sign (with your student's first and last name) in the windshield until your child has gotten into your vehicle.

• To eliminate congestion in our car rider student waiting area, we will be dismissing students from their homerooms. During dismissal time, please drive slowly and carefully, looking for a person that will read your car sign to call students to the dismissal area. 

• If you have a younger child in a car seat, if possible, please put the car seat on the driver's side of the car. 

• Please move your car as far as possible in the line. The first car should be at the sign that says “Car Rider Line Begins Here.”

Lower  Campus has registered with Kinsa to give all parents the opportunity to receive a free thermometer. If you would need a thermometer, follow the directions in the link to sign up for one. They will be shipped mid-November so make sure you sign up by November 6 so you don't get left out! They will be shipped to the schools.

Ice Bucket Challenge Winners for Boosterthon

Congratulations to Ms. Bailey's 1st grade class and Mrs. Bright's 3rd grade class for winning the nightly challenge on Tuesday with most new donations to Boosterthon. Go Gators!

Thanks for Supporting LCE and Boosterthon

Your students had so much fun dancing in the Lake Carolina DanceFit today! We are just shy of our $30,000 goal so we are going to have a BONUS NIGHT! If we reach that $30,000 goal, then the Booster team will get PIED IN THE FACE. 

Also, if you get a pledge of $1 per dance minute or more in NEW pledges tonight, you will get a BONUS PRIZE!

We will have one car line more prize pick-up tomorrow (Thursday, October 22) at the Upper Campus between 11:30am-12:15pm. All prizes left will be distributed to your student's teacher to be picked up later or can be given to your student when they come back to school.

Phase 2 Informational Meeting

Dr. Berry and Mr. Williams will be hosting a Zoom meeting at 12:30 on Friday, October 23rd to share information on how LCE is preparing for Phase 2.
