Media Center Request for Lower Campus

Mrs. Faile is in need to new shelf markers for the media center. Students use paint sticks to mark their place on the bookshelves when looking for a good book. If you could donate any to the library that would be a huge help and greatly appreciated.

Boosterthon... It's a Wrap!

On Monday afternoon, we had fun times at both campuses celebrating our final Boosterthon accomplishment. The highest earner in each class got to spray the principals with silly string and all students enjoyed popcorn for collecting 96% of the $35,000 funds raised. Thank you!

  • We are still accepting outstanding pledges. We have about $2,500 left to collect.
  • This year, we are returning more than 16% ($5,700) directly to our teachers to spend on their classrooms.
  • With the funds, we will buy the second half of the leveled readers for the Lower Campus and an additional sun shade for the playground at Upper Campus. We continue to support the weekend backpack program at LCE, and we are looking at other school needs that the PTO can support.
Thank you for your incredible support!

RETHINK Projects

Two first graders from Lower Campus will be presenting their RETHINK fireflies at Saluda Shoals Park on Saturday. We are so excited to have Tanner and Kendall represent LCEL!

4th Grade Performance: The Adventures of Lewis and Clark

The fourth grade performed The Adventures of Lewis and Clark at the general PTO meeting on Thursday, November 3 at Upper Campus. It was a wonderful performance and we learned so much about this time in US History! Special thank you to our music teacher, Mrs. Gray Hansberry.
