Boy Scouts Fall Popcorn Sale

Come visit the LCE Cub Scouts Pack 337 this week at the Lake Carolina Farmers Market!  The scouts will be selling their famous microwave popcorn and popcorn tins, including a limited edition USC Gamecock tin and a limited edition Clemson Tiger tin!  Prices start at $10. Popcorn makes great gifts for family, friends, teachers, and coworkers. Come support Pack 337 on Thursday, October 12 from 3-7.  Thank you!

Soccer Goals

 Gator Salute to Elite Soccer Training for donating new soccer goals for our students! We appreciate you giving back to LCEL! The students will enjoying playing soccer at recess with the new goals.

Mother/Son Bowling Tomorrow: 60 Spots Left



Attention Gator Moms! We still have 60 spots available tomorrow for the Mother/Son Bowling night at Royal Z Lanes! We are opening up the option to pay at the door. It will be first come, first serve and we will accept cash, check and charge. Please make checks payable to LCE PTO. Hope to see you there!
                             
Cost: $10 per person
This includes: shoe rental, up to 3 hours of bowling, 1 slice of pizza, and 1 drink.

Walk & Bike to School

We had another great turn out for our annual Walk & Bike to School event! LCE was one of 5,100 school in the US that participated in this event. Thank you to all the families that participated. There were smiles all around as students approached the school. Thank you for your support!

TOMORROW is National Walk/Bike to School Day

The annual National Bike/Walk to School day is tomorrow, October 4th. We encourage everyone to walk or bike to school. We are very proud to be part of a huge walk/bike-to-school community!

This event promotes:

  • Physical activity
  • Teaching safe pedestrian and bicycle safety to children
  • Awareness of how walkable and bikeable a community is and where improvements can be made
  • Concern for the environment
  • Reducing traffic congestion, pollution and speed near schools
  • Sharing time within the community with friends and family

Green Steps Awards

Congratulations to Lower Campus for being named a Certified Green Steps School! This means we are a model school for visitors to come and see how we are good stewards for the environment.
