100th Day of School

Our Preschool and Kindergarten students enjoyed celebrating the 100th day of school today. These awesome gators are 100 days smarter from all the counting and writing they did focused on the number 100 today!

2nd Grade Economics

Our second graders have been busy learning about economics. They even worked as producers and consumers! Students created an assembly line to produce: a winter mix, holiday cookies, chocolate bark, coco and build a snowman kits. Then they could shop the various stores in their classrooms to spend the money they earned working in the factories.

First Grade Football Friday

Our first graders enjoyed a day of being immersed in football! They dressed in their favorite team gear and ventured into a transformed room with all things football. Students worked on math facts, ending punctuation, synonyms, football facts and even made predictions about who would win the Super Bowl! We will have to wait and see if their predictions are right. Good luck!

Middle School Job Shadowing Day

We were thrilled to have so many middle school students from Richland Two schools at both campuses today for job shadowing.

SC Braille Challenge

Sadie Spence, a 4th grade student in Mrs. Bright's class, was awarded 3rd place in the freshman division of the South Carolina Braille Challenge.

The Braille Challenge is for students from across the state of South Carolina and is an academic competition emphasizing the study of braille. It was a day of challenges including spelling, proof-reading and reading comprehension in addition to fun-filled activities. The competition was held at the Commission for the Blind in Columbia.

Congratulations Sadie!
