Shadowing Principal for the Day

Spencer Shealy earned the opportunity to shadow our principal for the day at Upper Campus for being the student that had the highest amount collected during the Read Books 2 Raise Bucks PTO fundraiser. Spencer shadowed Mr. Williams and got to experience what an elementary school principal does!

Kindergarten Harvest Day

Kindergarten students enjoyed learning about apples and pumpkins during their harvest day rotations. You could see the excitement in their eyes as they rotated through the different stations! Who knew that learning could be so fun!

Mother-Son Bowling Night Deadline

Mother-Son Bowling Night is Friday, October 6 OR Friday, October 13 from 5:00-8:00pm

We are asking for Moms to choose ONE of the 2 offered dates:
                               
Cost: $10 per person
This includes: shoe rental, up to 3 hours of bowling, 1 slice of pizza, and 1 drink.

(Other food available for purchase from Royal Z Lanes.)

*This event is pre-payment by cash or check only, NO payments will be taken at the door on October 6 and 13. Please make checks payable to LCE PTO.
*Payment and form returned to either campus before Tuesday, October 3rd.

*There is limited capacity for each bowling night and this event SELLS OUT. So turn in your form and payment early! First come, first serve basis!

National Walk/Bike to School Day

We are excited to gear up for the annual, National Bike/Walk to school day Oct 4th. We encourage everyone to walk or bike to school.We are very proud to be part of a huge walk/bike-to-school community.

This event promotes:

• Physical activity
• Teaching safe pedestrian and bicycle safety to children
• Awareness of how walkable and bikeable a community is and where improvements can be made
• Concern for the environment
• Reducing traffic congestion, pollution and speed near schools
• Sharing time within the community with friends and family
