Upper Campus Gator Groups

Gator Groups met for the first time today. The groups will meet on the six early dismissal days during this school year. 

All of the staff at Upper Campus host a group. Students chose from groups ranging from Origami Fun, Playing UNO, Lego Leaders, Barnyard Round Up, Board Games, Kids in the Kitchen, Double Dutch, Yoga, and so many more! There are over 35 Gator Groups!

Information from Upper Campus Music Class

We are going to have so much fun in music class this year!  Your child can continue their musical journey at home by logging into QuaverMusic.com.  They can login on any device at home, at school or anywhere with internet access.  Each student has created an account.  When they go to login screen,  they can log in with their district Google account.  Please make sure that they are creating and using their own profile on the device and not syncing with other profiles on the device. Lower Campus Service Learning Project

Our first service learning project of the year at Lower Campus is to help Chesterfield County in aftermath of Hurricane Florence. We will be collecting donations from September 26-October 10th. Please see the list below if you are able to help. 

Upper Campus Interim Reports

Interim reports at Lake Carolina Upper will be accessible from Parent Portal this school year. Interims for the 1st 9 week grading period will be available to you from Parent Portal. If you have an active Parent Portal account, you may check your child's grades at any time and September 28th will be the interim grade for each subject area for the 1st quarter. When you log in to your account, the grades will automatically appear on the screen. There is not a report tab to click in Parent Portal.

It is important to monitor your child's progress through Parent Portal before report cards are issued. The first grading period ends on October 26 and the first report card will be issued on November 2.

You can access Parent Portal at https://parents.richland2.org. 

To create a Parent Portal Account:
1. Click Create an Account
2. Complete the top section with your personal information. Write down yourUsername/Password.
3. Add your child(ren) in the fields below. To add student(s), you will need to enter an Access ID and Access Password.
a. Access ID - Student ID number (either 5 or 12 digits). Your child's teacher or the front office can provide you with your child's student id number if you need to create an account.
b. Access Password - Student’s birthday, using 6-digits without dashes or slashes.
Example: MMDDYY - 010104
4. Click Submit.
