RETHINK Contest deadline is Friday

The Annual Midlands RETHINK Contest has been extended! If you are interested in participating, please read the guidelines below.


Students Should:
  • Learn why plastic bags are a problem both in nature (endanger wildlife)and in recycling bins (jam recycling machines).
  • Make an upcycled project out of plastic bags and other previously used items.
  • Write up what they learned and the impact on nature and recycling bins. Be sure to include Student's name and grade level
  • All projects and writing should be child created and written. 
Completed projects are due Friday, November 15 to Mrs. Knutson at the Lower Campus and Mrs. McConnell at the Upper Campus.

All projects will be displayed in the media center of each campus.

Veterans Day 2019



Lake Carolina Elementary celebrated Veterans Day this morning at each campus. Thanks to everyone for joining us for the programs. 

We appreciate all of the active duty military families and veterans for their service to our community and country.

2nd Grade Character Parade

It was amazing to see all the book characters today! Second graders selected a book to read and then dressed as the main character from the book. These students did a terrific job dressing in character.
