Lego Team Learning

The Lake Carolina FIRST Lego League Team at Upper Campus has been learning about how people learn. One fun way to learn is through learning games!

The Lego Team did research about the human body. They created Body Exploration, a fun game to help kids learn about bacteria, viruses, and plaque in the blood vessels of the body.  The player controls a nanobot flying through the blood stream to help save a life!

The students used Scratch to share their concept. Scratch is a free programming tool that introduces students to computer coding. scratch.mit.edu

Drew Gatzke did the original art and motion, Kendall Shealy did the logo and a lot of the concept, and the entire team helped work up the learning cutscreen dialog to test it out.

The team heads to the state tournament on March 21st at River Bluff High School in Lexington. Good luck Lego Team!
