Summer Baseball Camp Blythewood High School

Barry Mizzell Baseball Camp will host two sessions of baseball camps this summer at Blythewood Baseball Park.

Session I is June 15-18
Session II is June 22 –25

Each session will run Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am until 12:00 pm. The camp is directed by Barry Mizzell (Head Baseball Coach at Blythewood High School) with assistance from his staff and players.

There will be two camps in one this year. There will be a Basic Fundamental camp for ages 6-14 and an Advanced Pitching and Hitting camp for ages 9-14. The purpose of the Basic Fundamental Camp is to improve fundamentals in the game of baseball, with points of emphasis on catching, throwing, hitting, fielding and base running. The Advanced Pitching and Hitting Camp is designed to give pitching and hitting instruction for the higher level players. Points of emphasis will be on pitching mechanics, pitchers fielding techniques, pick-off moves, mental aspects, and the different pitches. Videotape will be used to analyze the individual campers. This camp is limited to the first 20 campers. Individual attention is a high priority for this camp.

Cost of the camp is $65 per person and $120 for two family members or $75 per player if received after June 1st.
