Lake Carolina Upper Campus joined with Spring Valley High School’s Winter Days Service Learning Project to collect canned goods and nonperishable food items to donate to local food banks.
Each day during the week of December 5-9, students brought in at least one food item so he or she could dress up in that day's Spirit Week theme.
The total collected was 3033 cans and food items with Ms. Rosenberg's 3rd grade class having the most. Her class had a total of 279 items donated and will get to participate in a mannequin challenge at recess. We will film the winning class and share the video on the morning show and the school blog!
